Quick answers.
The evaluation itself may be subject to a fee depending on your coverage. For patients with PPO insurance, we review your out-of-network benefits as part of the consultation process. Patients without insurance coverage pay a flat evaluation fee, discussed at booking. We never call it a free consultation as the evaluation involves significant clinical time from Dr. Rueda.
We use a HIPAA-compliant video platform. A link is provided after booking. You do not need to download any special software.
No. Telehealth is for the initial evaluation only. Spravato and Ketamine IV Infusion sessions require in-person attendance at our Port Chester clinic. FDA protocol for Spravato requires on-site administration and monitoring.
Dr. Rueda will explain why and what alternatives may be appropriate. Patient selection is the most important step in this process, and we take it seriously.
