What the clinical evidence shows.

Spravato and Ketamine IV are not experimental. They are FDA-approved or well-supported treatments with substantial peer-reviewed research behind them. The following findings reflect the clinical literature, not promises from PMC.
Spravato — FDA Approval

Breakthrough Therapy

The FDA granted Breakthrough Therapy designation for esketamine in 2016. Spravato received full FDA approval in 2019 for treatment-resistant depression and in 2020 for MDD with acute suicidal ideation.

Rapid Onset

Hours, Not Weeks

Unlike standard antidepressants that may take 4 to 6 weeks to produce measurable effects, ketamine-based treatments typically produce meaningful improvement within 24 to 48 hours of an early session.

70–83% Response

What our patients say.

PMC Psychedelic has received near-perfect ratings across Google Reviews. These are real patients writing about their real experiences — unsolicited and unedited.
Managing bipolar depression was always risky with antidepressants. Spravato addressed the low without triggering anything else. Dr. Rueda coordinated with my psychiatrist the whole way through.

I had been struggling with depression and thoughts of suicide for over a year. After Spravato sessions at PMC, I noticed a shift that I hadn't felt in a long time. Dr. Rueda's team was caring and thorough.

How we measure whether treatment is working.

Dr. Rueda does not consider a course of treatment successful just because a patient completes the sessions. We track outcomes using standardized clinical assessment tools and have honest conversations with patients about whether treatment is producing the results they need.
If a patient is not responding after an adequate trial, we say so. We do not continue treatment that is not working. We do not have a financial interest in prolonging treatment that isn't helping.

“The goal is improvement that the patient can feel. If we're not seeing that, we have a different conversation.”

— Dr. Carlos Rueda, MD, MBA Medical Director, PMC Psychedelic
