Start your evaluation from wherever you are.

PMC Psychedelic offers telehealth consultations for new patients who need flexibility. Your first appointment can happen from home.

What you can do by telehealth.

Telehealth at PMC is for initial evaluations only. Treatment sessions for Spravato and Ketamine IV are always in-person at our Port Chester clinic.
  • Full new-patient evaluation with Dr. Rueda via secure video
  • Review of your medical history and prior treatments
  • Discussion of which treatment is the right fit for you
  • Insurance verification guidance before your first in-person visit
  • Answers to your questions before you ever set foot in the clinic
Once your evaluation is complete and you're cleared for treatment, your first in-person session is scheduled at our Port Chester clinic. All Spravato and Ketamine IV infusion sessions take place on-site.

Who telehealth works well for.

Telehealth is a good fit if any of these apply to you:
  • You have a demanding schedule and can't get to Port Chester for an initial evaluation
  • You're located in Fairfield County or outer Westchester and want to assess fit before making the trip
  • You want to ask questions and understand your options before committing to an in-person visit
  • You've already been evaluated elsewhere and want a second opinion or transfer of care
Not sure if you qualify for Spravato or Ketamine IV Infusion? The evaluation is exactly where that question gets answered.

How to get started.

01

Request a Consultation

Submit a consultation request online or call us directly. Our practice coordinator will reach out to schedule your telehealth evaluation.
02

Meet with Dr. Rueda

Your video evaluation with Dr. Rueda typically runs 45 to 60 minutes. He reviews your history and discusses which treatment is the right fit.
03

Begin Treatment

Once cleared, your first in-person treatment session is scheduled at our Port Chester clinic. We verify insurance coverage before you arrive.

Quick answers.

The evaluation itself may be subject to a fee depending on your coverage. For patients with PPO insurance, we review your out-of-network benefits as part of the consultation process. Patients without insurance coverage pay a flat evaluation fee, discussed at booking. We never call it a free consultation as the evaluation involves significant clinical time from Dr. Rueda.

We use a HIPAA-compliant video platform. A link is provided after booking. You do not need to download any special software.

No. Telehealth is for the initial evaluation only. Spravato and Ketamine IV Infusion sessions require in-person attendance at our Port Chester clinic. FDA protocol for Spravato requires on-site administration and monitoring.

Dr. Rueda will explain why and what alternatives may be appropriate. Patient selection is the most important step in this process, and we take it seriously.

From a patient who started remotely.

“The hyperarousal had me on a hair-trigger for years. After the third infusion, the volume on it just dropped. I wasn't always scanning the room. I could be in a conversation again.”
